Pre-Medical Studies Certificate

This certificate program is designed for students who are not seeking a degree, but who want to prepare for admission to medical school. Medical schools generally expect their applicants to have the equivalent of a bachelor’s degree along with the four years of science courses required for this certificate.

Note(s):
A student is eligible for a certificate if at least one half (17 credit hours) of the courses are completed at Xavier University with a minimum grade point average of 3.000. Interested students should consult with the chair of the Health Sciences Committee or the Coordinator of Pre-Professional Health Advising.
