COUN 702 - Applied Medical Trauma Studies

3 Credit Hours
Building on the course, Introduction to Medical Trauma, this course will explore in more depth the trauma response, as well as specific treatment modalities for treating trauma experienced in the medical setting. Students in this course will develop an understanding of the identification, assessment, treatment, and prevention of medical trauma in multiple care-delivery settings.
