THEO 430 - Ignatian Spirituality 3 Credit Hours A study of the historical, political, and theological context of Ignatius with a reappraisal of his Spiritual Exercises. How does Ignatius stand within the social, ecclesial and spiritual currents of his world? Where does he fit into the current of mystical thought in sixteenth-century Spain? More importantly: how do the Exercises shed light on the global reality of the 21st century?
Prerequisites: THEO111 or CORE105
