THEO 370 - New Testament and Politics 3 Credit Hours This course will address questions of politics and power with regard to the New Testament. We will devote significant attention to the role of the Roman Empire in the development of Christian theology, identity and practice, even as we consider the place of democratic discourse in early Christian communities. The course will also consider the relationship of politics and the New Testament in the modern era.
