NURS 261 - Pathophysiology II

The second in a series of two, this course builds on the students’ knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and the cellular changes that are covered in NURS 260 Pathophysiology I. This course will focus on the cellular, tissue, organ, and systems mechanisms of change that occur with disease. The course will trace the development of diseases from the presence of risk factors to the manifestations of signs and symptoms to complications that can occur. While focusing on each body system, the impact on other body systems will be examined. Accelerated course for ABSN students only.
