PHIL 355 - Foundations of Critical Theory


3 Credit Hours
An examination of the philosophical foundations of critical theory through the writings of its theoretical forerunners and representatives. Topics for consideration include philosophical conceptions of society, nature, power, opression, justice, freedom, and art.

Prerequisites: ( PHIL100 or CORE105) and ( PHIL290 or PHIL200)
