SOCW 300 - Adolescence - Older Adulthood 3 Credit Hours This course provides the student knowledge of human development in the social environment from adolescence through older adulthood and end of life, stressing both healthy and non-healthy aspects of development and behavior. A core of theories, concepts, and skills is presented so that the student can effectively apply this content to practice with client systems. This course will ground the student in the person-in-environment perspective by considering biological, psychological, social, spiritual and environmental aspects of development, making the course appropriate for many disciplines.
