POLI 321 - Politics of the Anthropocene 3 Credit Hours Examination of the links between political conflict and economic and political development. Challenges to a status quo and efforts to address problems in developing areas often framed in terms of “justice.” Theoretical material for the course will be drawn primarily from the literature on the international political economy of development. References will be made to case studies from the Middle East, South Asia and other contemporary and historical cases.
