PHIL 378 - Vico 3 Credit Hours Examination of several key texts in the development of Giambattista Vico’s thought, culminating in the Scienza Nuova. Themes include Vico’s method, his critique of Cartesianism, his theory of history, and his rethinking of natural law.
Prerequisites: ( PHIL100 or CORE105) and ( PHIL290 or PHIL200)
