PHIL 319 - Reason and Desire 3 Credit Hours A consideration of different conceptions of human desire in Classical and Modern philosophers. Among the questions to be addressed are the general relation between reason and desire, whether we can act from reason instead of from desire, and whether we can, or should, control what desires we have.
Prerequisites: ( PHIL100 or CORE105) and ( PHIL290 or PHIL200)
