ECON 395 - Economics of Poverty (3) Credit Hours This course explores the issues of poverty and discrimination from the perspective of an economist. We will examine the causes and consequences of poverty and discrimination, as well as the various policies meant to reduce their prevalence. The primary focus is poverty in the United States, but some aspects of international poverty will also be addressed.
