CJUS 435 - Terrorism & Homeland Security 3 Credit Hours An introduction to terrorism and homeland security. The course is divided into two parts. In the first part (8 weeks), the student will be exposed to definitions, history, typologies, evolutions, causation, ideology, and conduct of terrorism. This provides the student with a solid foundation to digest the materials in the second part, which instructs the student on the U.S. response to the 9/11 attack, i.e. counter-terrorism legislation and programs.
