ECON 493 - Capstone Experience in ECON II 2 Credit Hours The primary aim of the capstone course is to use economic theory and data analysis to complete an original research project. In this course, students will learn about the process of developing, researching, writing and presenting an economics capstone with a greater emphasis on writing and presenting one\2019s work. In class, students will learn how to write the capstone paper itself based on the results of capstone research conducted and feedback received in Econ 492. At the end of the term, students will present their capstone to the economics faculty throughout the second half of the term. The research paper and the oral presentation of the research will be assessed by the faculty.
