ARTS 274 - Women, Art & Society 3 Credit Hours A historical survey of women artists from pre-history to the twentieth century. Socio-political, psychological, economic issues, and themes affecting women’s participation in the visual arts are examined. A multi-cultural and multi-media perspective, giving full attention to the diversity of women’s ways of creating art is utilized.
