The Instructional Design and Development program combines instructional design and development theories and principles with digital learning strategy to create effective, engaging instructional and training experiences. Students will gain the knowledge and competencies needed to strategically plan, design, and implement innovative instructional solutions to support training and development initiatives in a variety of professional environments.

Required Courses - 24 hours
- IDDT 500 - Foundations of Instructional Design
- IDDT 501 - Instructional Analysis and Learning Assessment
- IDDT 502 - Adult Learning Theories and Instructional Models
- IDDT 550 - eLearning Design and Development
- IDDT 551 - Emerging Technologies and Ethics in Digital Learning
- IDDT 552 - Instructional Design Project Managemen
- IDDT 601 - Multimedia Integration for Instructional Design
- IDDT 650 - Capstone Project in Instructional Design and Development
Concentration courses - 6 hours
Students may choose a concentration of eLearning Design and Development or Instructional Systems Design and Leadership. Alternatively, if students would prefer not to take a concentration they can complete a generalized option by choosing one course from each concentration area to fulfill their 30 semester hour degree requirement. eLearning Design and Development concentration

Instructional Systems Design and Leadership concentration

- Students must maintin a minimum 3.0 GPA through each semester enrolled in the program
