The 3D Animation and Immersive Game Design major teaches students to design animations and games for the greater good, preparing them for careers in 3D modeling, animation, virtual reality, medical simulation, visual effects, experiential design, and more. Housed in the Art Department, students are trained in foundational art principles and visual storytelling to enable them to craft beautiful and meaningful design solutions. Students collaborate with others to design socially responsible and ethical digital experiences, focusing on representation, player well-being, and the impact of games on society. This interdisciplinary program fosters the Jesuit educational belief that it is not just about what we create but who we become and how we serve others. Students graduate with the ability to make thoughtful, innovative, and ethical animations and immersive games that edify others.
