Biotechnology minor

Biotechnology is the use of biologics to make products that range from research supplies to new crops to new pharmaceuticals. Students in this program will learn not only the basic foundations of DNA manipulation and protein expression, but also about important considerations in product development and marketing. They will also discuss the ethics of biological manipulation. And they will explore applications of biotechnology in both the medical and agricultural industries.
