The degree of Master of Education with a concentration in Sport Administration is designed to prepare an individual for a career within the expanding sport industry. The program was designed utilizing the guidelines recommended by the North American Society for Sport Management (NASSM).
A three semester hour internship, six semester hour internship, or a research project is required, depending on each student’s individual background and career goals. The internship may be taken after a student has successfully completed 15 semester hours. Internships are planned and supervised learning activities which take place in a sport administration related environment. The student will be supervised by a sport management practitioner. There is no comprehensive exam.

The program is designed to be accessible to full-time or part-time students. Classes are held in the evenings. Students may be admitted to the program in any semester. Requirements for the M.Ed. in Sport Administration:
This M.Ed. degree requires a minimum of 30 credit hours with a minimum overall GPA of 2.800. Core Requirements (15 semester hours)
