The Department of Biology offers these degrees and programs:

• The Bachelor of Science in Biology
• The Bachelor of Science in Biological Sciences for Business
• The Bachelor of Science in Environmental Science, with an optional concentration in Environmental Management (3+2 program with Duke University)
• The Bachelor of Science in Genetics
• The Bachelor of Science in Microbiology
• The Bachelor of Science in Neuroscience
• The Bachelor of Science in Teaching Integrated Sciences (in cooperation with the School of Education)
• The Associate of Science in Biology
• The Associate of Science in Health Science
• The Minor in Biology
• The Minor in Bioinformatics
• The Minor in Biotechnology
• The Minor in Environmental Studies

Additionally, the Department of Biology administratively oversees these programs for pre-professional health students, governed by the Health Sciences Committee (comprised of faculty from Biology, Chemistry and Physics)
