ENGL 363 - Ecocriticism 3 Credit Hours This course is a survey of ecological criticism, or “ecocriticism,” an interdisciplinary field of inquiry that examines humans’ relationship to the natural world. The course introduces foundational theoretical concepts in ecocriticism, as well as emerging approaches. Course includes a substantial research project. This course will include a research assignment. Students are strongly encouraged to complete ENGL 210 Methods Workshop and/or ENGL 205: Lit & the Moral Imagination or equivalent before enrolling.
Prerequisites: ENGL101 or ENGL115
