PSYC 210 - Statistical Techniques 3 Credit Hours This course covers different statistical concepts and techniques, particularly as they relate to the discipline of psychology. In this course, students will learn the basic terminology and concepts of descriptive and inferential statistics used in the field of psychology. Students will also solve basic statistics problems by learning to apply appropriate statistical methods with accurate computations and interpretations. A portion of the course will be devoted to students’ reading, communicating, and reasoning with quantitative information. Upon successful completion of this course, students will have the foundational and critical thinking skills to evaluate real-world problems using statistical methods and quantitative arguments.
Restrictions: Must be enrolled in one of the following Fields of Study (Major, Minor, or Concentration): Psychology
