ENGL 487 - Contemp American Poetry

3 Credit Hours
This course explores American poetry written after the 1940s and concerns a variety of poetic movements after Modernism. This course will include a research assignment. Students are strongly encouraged to complete ENGL 210 Methods Workshop and/or ENGL 205: Lit & the Moral Imagination or equivalent before enrolling. 

Prerequisites: ENGL101 or ENGL115
