ENGL 484 - African-American Literature

3 Credit Hours
Textual and cultural study of Afro-American writing from the 18th century to the present. This course will include a research assignment. Students are strongly encouraged to complete ENGL 210 Methods Workshop and/or ENGL 205: Lit & the Moral Imagination or equivalent before enrolling. 

Prerequisites: ENGL101 or ENGL115
