ENGL 481 - American Realism: 1865-1915

3 Credit Hours
Textual and cultural study of various genres from the Civil War to the eve of Modernism. This course will include a research assignment. Students are strongly encouraged to complete ENGL 210 Methods Workshop and/or ENGL 205: Lit & the Moral Imagination or equivalent before enrolling. 

Prerequisites: ENGL101 or ENGL115
