ENGL 480 - Amer Renaissance: 1830-1865

Textual and cultural study of Transcendentalism, the American romance, and other writing of this period. This course will include a research assignment. Students are strongly encouraged to complete ENGL 210 Methods Workshop and/or ENGL 205: Lit & the Moral Imagination or equivalent before enrolling. 

Prerequisites: ENGL101 or ENGL115
