ENGL 362 - Technologies of Gender 3 Credit Hours Examination of the ways in which women’s bodies are both constructed and deconstructed in postmodern culture and the ethical, social, and political implications of these processes for the well-being of women. We will focus on technologies of gender, i.e., those sets of cultural practices that make the body gendered. This course will include a research assignment. Students are strongly encouraged to complete ENGL 210 Methods Workshop and/or ENGL 205: Lit & the Moral Imagination or equivalent before enrolling.
Prerequisites: PHIL100 and THEO111 and ( ENGL101 or ENGL115)
