ENGL 321 - Hist of the English Language

3 Credit Hours
The socio-historical story of English. Origins, variation, change, legitimization, maintenance and spread of a world language. This course will include a research assignment. Students are strongly encouraged to complete ENGL 210 Methods Workshop and/or ENGL 205: Lit & the Moral Imagination or equivalent before enrolling. 

Prerequisites: ENGL101 or ENGL115
